Well I am back in the states safe and sound after a great trip.  It was one of the best trips I have ever been on.  Everyone has been asking for the pictures so here they are.  Some are better than others so try to look at them all.  I have labeled most of them.  I'm putting them up as thumbnails on some other pages.  This will allow me to put up as many pictures as possible.  I have more than 500 pictures and 4 hours of video.

This is one of my most favorite pictures, I think it is because of the story behind it.  Six of us in the trekking group snuck into the ice fall at the base of Mount Everest.  We never intended on going up as far as we did.  As most of you know the ice fall is the most dangerous place on the mountain.  Benoit, a Canadian climber guided us up to the first ladder.  This is a picture of me at the first ladder about 18,250 feet, about one third the way up the ice fall.  This was the highlight of the trip for me and I think for most in our group!

This is another picture that I love.  This girl was working in a field next to a park that I was at having a picnic with some friends.  What she is doing is using the knife in her right hand to cut grass and then she puts it in the basket that she carries on her head.  I don't know what she is going to do with the grass.  The only thing I can figure is that her family will store it to feed to the animals at a later time.  She was not to happy I was taking her picture.

This is the shot everyone is looking for.  That is Mount Everest over my right shoulder covered in the clouds like it was most of the time we were there.  To my left is Pemba.  He was one of our guides and a sherpa that I spent the most time with.  It was great hanging around someone as happy as  him.
